WORK WITH US

ONGOING RECRUITMENT

Critter Caretakers started in 2010 as a small pet sitting and dog walking business in Mesa. As the client base grew grew, so did the number of Independant Contractors. In 2018 there were 6 extra sitters bought in to cope with demand. It was during that year that the current owner, Liza & Tony Bacon, purchased Critter Caretakers as part of a business visa, which saw them move from London England over to Surprise Arizona.

Liza and Tony focussed less on attending visits themselves and more on offering exceptional service, finding only the highest quality pet sitters in Arizona to help them grow.

In 2024 there are now over 40 sitters, serving a client base of over 1000 people who trust them with their pets and in their homes. They cover Phoenix and both the West Valley and the East Valley. They have won 18 Best of Mesa awards in the last 12 years, in both the Best Pet Sitting Service and Best Home Service categories.

They are the only Pet Sitting business in Arizona with an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.

As they continue to grow their client base in pet sitting and dog walking, there is also a passion to expand the number of services offered. Therefore, alongside a constant need for high quality pet sitters, there is also a new demand for animal-loving, reliable, trustworthy people with integrity to join our journey.
