This is a very common concern, and we are experts in caring for shy cats. Our first priority is your cat's comfort and well-being, not forcing interaction. During our first few visits, we will move slowly, speak in a calm voice, and focus on quietly handling their needs: providing fresh food and cool water and meticulously cleaning the litter box. We are trained to confirm they are safe and healthy by checking that food has been eaten and the litter box has been used. Often, after a few respectful, low-pressure visits, even the most timid cats will start to come out on their own terms. We will let them set the pace entirely.

We scoop the litter box at every single visit, without exception. 
We believe a clean litter box is absolutely essential for a cat's health, comfort, and happiness. If you book one visit per day, it's scooped daily; if you book two, it's scooped twice. We will also sweep up any tracked litter around the box to keep the area tidy. For longer bookings, we are happy to perform a full litter change and box cleaning based on your instructions.

Yes, absolutely. Our team is experienced and confident in administering various types of medication to cats, including pills, liquid medications, and subcutaneous injections like insulin. During our mandatory Meet & Greet, we will have you demonstrate your cat's specific routine. We take detailed notes on dosage and timing to ensure we follow your veterinarian's instructions precisely, because we know there is no room for error.

No. For the absolute safety and security of your cat, we have a strict indoors-only policy. Our primary responsibility is to eliminate all potential risks while your cat is in our care. Even for cats who are used to being outdoors, the dangers Arizona — from predators like coyotes to traffic and the extreme afternoon heat — are too great. Keeping your cat securely indoors is the only way we can guarantee their well-being. We are happy to let them enjoy a securely enclosed 'catio' or screened-in patio if you have one.

Your pet's continuous care is our guarantee. 
We will never leave a pet unattended until we have confirmed you are back home. We ask that you notify us as soon as you know of a travel delay so we can continue with the scheduled visits until you arrive home safely. We understand that travel can be unpredictable, especially during Arizona's monsoon season, and we are always prepared to be flexible. Additional visits are simply billed at your regular rate.
