From May through October, all walks are scheduled in the early morning (typically before 9 AM) or late evening (after 7 PM).
5-Second Pavement Test.
We always test the pavement with the back of our hand. If it's too hot for us, it's too hot for their paws.
Weather Contingency Plan.
If conditions are unsafe (extreme heat, monsoon storms), we will substitute the walk with an energetic indoor play session and a quick, safe potty break.

30mins. The Quick Jaunt.
Best for: A great potty break and a good leg stretch. Ideal for senior dogs or a quick relief visit.
45mins.. The Pleasant Stroll.
Best for: The perfect balance of exercise and neighborhood exploration, giving them plenty of time to sniff and explore.
60mins. The Explorer.
Best for: High-energy dogs who need to burn off steam and get in some serious mileage during safe hours.

We never walk dogs on hot pavement. Any outdoor time is strictly limited to potty breaks in cool, shaded areas.
