- Payment Information: When you make a purchase or book a service, Time to Pet collects payment information, such as credit/debit card details. This information is typically processed securely by their third-party payment processors (Stripe). We do not directly store any of your credit card information.
- Communications: Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and chat messages) if you contact us or communicate with Independent Contractors (ICs) through our platform.
- For Independent Contractors (ICs):
- Application Information: When you apply to become an IC, we collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, experience, skills, references, service areas, availability, and government-issued identification for verification.
- Profile Information: Information you choose to display on your public profile, such as a biography, photos, services offered, and service rates.
- Background Check Information: With your consent, we may facilitate background checks through a third-party provider. The information collected for this purpose is handled according to that provider’s privacy policy.
- Payment Information: Bank account details or other payment information necessary to process your earnings.
- Communications: Records of your communications with us and with Clients through our platform.
- For e-Store Customers & Resource Center Users:
- Order Information: If you purchase products from our e-store, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number, and order details.
- Newsletter/Download Information: If you subscribe to our newsletter or download resources, we collect your name and email address.

This is essential for them to perform the booked services.
- With Pet Owners (Clients): If you are an IC, your profile information (name, photo, bio, services offered, general service area, reviews) will be visible to Pet Owners seeking services. Once a service is booked, Pet Owners will receive necessary contact information to communicate with you.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. These may include:
- Payment processing.
- Website hosting and infrastructure (Odoo).
- Pet care management software (Time To Pet).
- Background check services for ICs (Sentrylink).
- Data analytics providers (Google Analytics).
- Email marketing and communication platforms.
- Customer support tools.
- Shipping and fulfillment partners for e-Store orders. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency), to protect the rights, property, or safety of Critter Caretakers, our users, or others.
