What is the premium in pet sitting service?

We all love our pets. We all want the best for them. So what is the best in pet sitting anyway? Well we think it's a new premium service we're now offering - Live-in pet sitting! What does a live in pet sitter do? Your live-in pet sitter will come to your home and, well, live there, with your fur-babies. We come to your home, bring our own food and stay with your pets for 19 hours a day.   This is a premium service for many reasons. First of all, your pets' daily routine will be followed just as if you were there. No changes in their feeding schedule, your pet's walk time and favorite activities will still happen, and we will sleep with your pets if that's what they're used to. It's a seamless experience for your pets and about as stress free as you can get for your furry...

When is a Gilbert pet sitter NOT a pet sitter?

We wear lots of different hats when we work as pet sitters in Gilbert:   poop scooper,  hairball cleaner-upper, dog walker, head kisser, and cuddle giver. But occasionally we get to step out of those roles and fill another. Animal rescue networker!!!! I have two great stories to share. The first involves one of our clients who found a pregnant feral cat. He didn't want mom to have the kittens outdoors in the summer heat so he asked if I could help connect him with any rescues. While in the process of us trying to find a rescue for him, momma had her kittens in his house. With four of his own, he couldn't keep any of them. Meanwhile, another client had recently had to put her beloved companion to sleep due to kidney failure. So I put on my thinking cap and asked her if she'd be interested in fostering momma...

Mesa Dog Sitter shares sad story

I usually try to keep things upbeat and positive, but after an experience I had the other night, I felt very strongly about sharing the importance of the lesson learned. It's one I try to reinforce with my Mesa pet sitting clients when I can. I was driving home from my last pet sitting visit later one night around 9:30. As I was driving home, there were 3 cars pulled off to the left side of the road and several people standing around.  I pulled over thinking there was an accident and to see if I could help. When I got closer, I saw it was not a fender bender car accident; it was worse. Someone had hit 3 dogs with a car and kept on driving. One of the dogs had died from the impact. The other 2 were huddled close together on the street. One of the dogs had...

Gilbert Pet Sitter Saves the Day

While on my way to visit one of our  pet sitting clients in Gilbert one morning, I happened to notice two West Highland Terriers high tailing it (um, pun intended) down a neighborhood street at about Mach 5.  The only problem? These 2 pups were zooming down the street with no owners attached to them, or leashes. I pulled my car over and called them to me. They ran over to me all happy tails and lolling tongues, but just as quickly ran off again. I gave chase but they were too fast for me. So I got in my car and followed them to the end of the street. They came tearing to the end of the neighborhood and around the corner now heading down a major street. They were running east on Ray Road, headed for the intersection of Power Road! Not good!!! I called out and luckily got one...
