At times our feline companions need medicine or supplements to feel their best, but they can be very difficult to administer given the sometimes discriminating kitty palate and convincingly discouraging claws. Here are some tips from your Chandler pet sitters for accomplishing the seemingly impossible: medicating your cat. –Hide the pill inside something: Try a treat […]
Many people think that cats are boring. Well as the mom of 4, I can assure you they’re just as entertaining, social and wonderful as dogs. But they don’t DO anything you say…well my answer to that is maybe you aren’t doing the right “cat things” with them. 🙂 Cats are highly social and playful; […]

Many of our pet sitting clients travel during this holiday, so your Gilbert pet sitter is busy spending time with your pets. Unfortunately while we’re enjoying our cookouts and parties, many pets get very scared during this time. The fireworks and noise are often too much for many of them. How can you help your […]
Meet Nicole Lueders, member of the Critter Caretaker pet sitting team:
“I grew up surrounded by dogs! At age 14, I found two orphaned jackrabbits and raised them until they could be released in the wild. My career is in teaching, but I have volunteered in animal rescue for the since 2009. I do medical, neonate and hospice fostering for cats in my home, and work with dogs in the shelter. I am skilled in administering medication to dogs and cats; orally, transdermally and injection. I am able to administer subcutaneous fluids and have been trained in canine and feline CPR. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds of animals, pit bull hold a special place in my heart. I have participated in shy dog socialization classes and pit bull manners classes with rescue dogs and can work with shy or more dominant dogs. I have also been part of the feline socialization team at the animal shelter and I am skilled in working with shy cats. I currently have two rescue cats of my own, Fiona and Duchess. I have been petsitting for 10yrs, and have been with Critter Caretakers since 2014”.

Well our Pawesome clients have done it….again! A couple of years ago we set out to help Maricopa County Animal Care and Control by holding a food/blanket drive – https://www.crittercaretakers.com/clients-of-pet-sitting-company-in-mesa-give-generously/ . At that time, we were blown away by our clients generosity in donating 312 pounds of much needed food and 75 blankets and towels. […]
